Book Description

September 9, 2007
Living Kaddish is a collection of stories of powerful, enduring love -- the love that the children feel for their parents and that parents feel for their children, the love of siblings and the love of spouses. And, perhaps most importantly, these stories represent the love that Jews for G-d and show how, by reciting His praise, we are mourning our loss of a mortal life, and elevating an immortal soul. Living Kaddish is essential for everyone saying Kaddish. It is an uplifting book to offer loved ones, and an inspiring book for anyone interested in this mitzvah. It also includes a practical guide to Kaddish, Kaddish FAQs, and the Mourner's Kaddish in Hebrew with a complete English translation.

5.0 out of 5 stars Indispensable and inspiring book, November 28, 2007
This review is from: Living Kaddish: Incredible and inspiring stories (Paperback)
I love this book. Having had to say Kaddish twice, I know what it is like to look desperately for a minyan and then to find one - and the most amazing people at the same time. Rabbi Zweig has done a marvelous job in finding an assortment of eloquent and inspiring people to tell stories from the heart. The guide to saying Kaddish is a welcomed addition. This book is a must for anyone embarking on saying kaddish, lo alaynu.
