The "Living Landscapes: World's Most Beautiful Mountains" blu-ray is absolutely one of the most relaxing and enjoyable landscape offerings in the 'Living Landscapes' series. The viewer would repeatedly watch enjoying the lovely scenes again and again.
The camera lens takes the viewer into several picturesque sceneries of ambient environments of mountains in different locations around the world in the four consecutive seasons. The viewer can picture himself/herself in those scenes with the high quality of the picture and the details of the view, becoming part of nature with its greenery and its creatures and culminating in forming a harmonious whole.

Capable and stunning photography of our most rugged terrain. Thoughtful visual compositions. Cheesy music and banners but the music can be restrained.

This video is guaranteed to transform you into a mountain "loving" man (or woman). The mountains in exotic places around the world such as, New Zealand, Patagonia, the Alps, the Rockies etc, are nature's greatest wonders. Inspirational works of art captured on Blu-ray. This video highlights the world's most majestic peaks. You will love it! I did.

Good way to spend some quality mountain time. For true mountain lovers, there is no bad video. This one is a little disconnected, but I will watch it again.

After the disappointment of Living Landscapes: Hawaii, I was truly hoping this disc would make amends, which I'm happy to say that it does and more. This is exactly the HD demo disc I was hoping for - exquisite scenery, sharp clear and bright photography, beautifully presented. The mountains are all labelled at the beginning of each segment, so you know where you are, the scenes are carefully chosen and composed, they leap out of the tv screen at you and they are all stunningly lovely. Not one dull shot in the whole hour. Plenty of variety in the scenes so you don't get just peaks after peaks, but waterfalls, rivers, lakes, animal life, flora and cloudscapes as well as different seasons to enjoy them all in.

Also I really liked the musical choices, especially the two polkas for the Swiss and Austrian Alps. I thought they were fun, but I'm a sucker for piano accordions anyway.

A very polished and satisfying HD demo disc well worth the money spent.
