I really like the daily bits and bites of Italian...it helps to learn the idioms of the Italian language, how their constructions differ from ours (what makes Italian a much more beautiful language than English). However, I do have a suggestion to make this compilation better. MAKE IT SPIRAL BOUND and it can be kept to review what you have learned when the year is over. Better yet, if they just put the number of the day and not whether it is a Friday or a Tuesday, it could be used again yearly, but then why would you have to buy a new one and help the economy, eh?

This is a gift for a friend, so I haven't opened it to rate it, but I do have the Spanish version of the 2008 series. I'm learning a lot from it and the sentences are great. My only complaint is that some of the harder senetences use vocabulary before it is introduced at the top of the page (but that only comes as a concern because I try to figure out the sentence before reading the English translation). Great gift.
