Useful Item!
This calendar has both simple phrases for the beginner as well as some idiomatic phrases which are helpful for the more advanced Spanish learner. I find it a nice review (I usually know most of the phrases) with some new phrases each month which I didn't previously know. A nice, light way to keep up with Spanish at least a little bit every day.

Not learning what I thought I would
Don't expect to really pick up the language with this calendar. It does have some interesting phrases, and funny story lines that follow for several days, but in the end it is a lot of odd phrases that don't literally translate. Also, there is one key word with pronunciation and definition at the top each day, but it is usually not the word I end up wishing I had...

Don't expect to really pick up the language with this calendar. It is unlikely I will get this calendar again.
