Since visiting France over 10 years ago I had wanted a book on Monet which would show not only his paintings but his home--this book does both. It is a lovely book just the right length too. As always, Amazon has the very best price too!

Monet was the father of modern art. It was his "Impressions, Sunrise" which started Impressionism style of painting. I have a monet calendar http://www.lulu.com/content/2548691 on the wall and the book brought him to life.
