I knew nothing of this band when I purchased this, but I've come to put it into my regular rotation. Its especially good for singing along when I've got a little drink in me. Memorable tunes that you'll be humming later, engaging instrumental pieces, and good vocals. Definitely recommended.

The Donkeys were out touring with Jason Molina, I believe. I bought this on a whim, hearing that fact, and the CD is great. The production description is accurate: burned-out, so-cal surf, alt-country, funky etc. Playing this in my car on the way to work everyday,I've pretty much memorized most of the lyrics and the songs have stared to feel 'classic.' Give this group a try, is what I recommend.
