Tanna Marshall has a gift for story telling and providing helpful information without sounding like she is preaching or telling you what to do. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and have practiced many of her tips! Particularly tips for staying focused and calm at work, things as simple as remembering to breathe in stressful situations! The simple meditation exercise she suggests is quite helpful. This book is enlightening, easy to read and most enjoyable!

This book is fantastic! It is easy to read, well organized and full of wonderful tips for di-stressing. As a psychotherapist, I would recommend this book to many of my patients. It covers all the important topics that contribute to anxiety and burn-out in our fast-paced culture with many tips and techniques for staying calm. It is spiritual, easy to read and digest and suggests many great books and healers that influenced the author. One can easily read the whole book quickly or simply find the chapters that most pertain to them. Thoughtful, insightful and well done! Highly recommended!--

She shares a courageous view of optimism and hope and gives the reader many practical tools to create a harmonious living space. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it for anyone seeking comfort in a stressful world.

This book is quite remarkable, and indeed very special. Ms. Marshall has created an uplifting and incredibly helpful tool for all of us who don't just want to get through our days, but enjoy and value them. I think we can all agree that modern life is relentlessly stressful and distracts us from the thoughts and behaviors that can keep us positive and centered. This book is a marvelous companion for the bedside, car, coffee table---it's easy to read, the chapters are brief and get to the heart of their focus, whether it's visualization, dealing with anger, forgiveness, relationships, physical health and fitness, etc. I love to keep it with me and spend a few minutes practicing the breathing or meditation exercises within its pages, or simply reflect on Ms. Marshall's suggestions for staying calm, optimistic and energized when my day gets crazy and I yearn for balance. I cannot recommend this book enough. It is a treasure!
