When I bought "A Gracious Welcome," I was one of the "customers who also bought..." "Living with the Seasons" is a beautifully photographed book; a coffee table book, not a "how-to" book. The rooms, the furniture, the suggestions of cutting flowers from your own garden are truly lovely, but I have neither the rooms, the furniture, nor the cutting garden. The overall Asian decor is breathtakingly beautiful, but not really attainable. At least not by me. I have looked through the book many times for the sheer joy of it, but alas, I cannot use it as an example of what I can do with my home.

I enjoy both interior design and natural living; this book was a win-win! I use it like a coffee-table book, pulling it out for guests and my own seasonal reference. Great pictures, wonderful ideas, calming text. It's one of my favorites.
