Book Description

In the small town of Willow Eve, Arkansas, feisty bartender, Delia Rhodes lives a pretty normal life; if you consider having a ghost for a roommate, pixies as best friends and being one of the rarest hybrids to exist, normal. Her life is turned upside down when someone or something begins kidnapping pixies and she is forced to find out who is behind it and why. If that wasn’t enough for her to deal with, Delia meets a delicious vampire hybrid with a very important event coming up; his registration. Will he survive? Will Delia solve the kidnappings or get dragged into the middle of something much deeper?

Lisa's review of
Living Sensitive
By C.M. Rawdon

I absolutely loved the Delia Rhodes story. It is a great mixture of many different types of paranormals. Hybrids are common knowledge and each has it's own abilities. Who wouldn't like to have a ghost for a roommate that even makes you coffee. The storyline flowed freely and quickly. I was able to be engrossed immensely in the story and visually seeing each and every wonderful character. Didn't like one of them but don't want to spoil it for everyone you will need to get your copy and see the show stopping literary roller coaster that was a total page turner up to the very last page. I definitely can't wait for book two to be released to continue reading about Delia and Draven. Thank you Christine for a paranormal adventure. I received this during a free book day

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun read May 24, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
This was a fun read! I liked all of the characters a lot. Delia cracked me up the whole time. Her inner dialogue is totally what I would have been saying to myself in her shoes. There was no shortage of man candy either, Seamus and Draven were both equally swoon worthy.

I really don't have anything bad to say about this one. This story held my interest until the very end, and it left me yelling at my Kindle because I didn't want it to be over. C.M. Rawdon is one to watch, I fully expect great things from her in the future.

3.0 out of 5 stars It was ok July 17, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
The story itself was ok but a little choppy. It is hard to get past the numerous mistakes though. ("Thrown" instead of "throne", "and" instead of "an"). If these editing mistakes are absent in the other books I would be interested in reading the rest of the series.

2.0 out of 5 stars I am a little confused by the five star ratings July 12, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I feel like I am missing something. I can't believe everyone gave this five stars. If you can look past all of the editing mistakes (and there were a lot) you are left with an extremely annoying lead charàcter. The dialogue between characters didn't flow and the plot was wày too predictable. I am sorry but the only saving grace was that this was free. Do not waste your time on this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Quick read. I wish it was longer, but a real joy! December 2, 2012

Tiffany's Review

Delia is a hybrid. She is part Shifter and part Sensitive. What is a Sensitive? It is where she can touch someone and can tell what they have done or experienced. She works at a karaoke bar. When she first meets Draven, she is confused at her emotions b/c she is also attracted to Eli. Delia has to put her love life on hold b/c someone is kidnapping Pixies. Can Delia find the kidnappers before it's too late?

I really enjoyed this book!! It was a real quick read for me and I just wish it was longer. I read it in about 4 hours and that is with a lot of distractions AKA my nephews. Well anyways, if you know me you know that I love shifter books. So, I was totally fangirling over this book. She can shift into anything and Draven is any girls dream come true. He is also a hybrid; he is part wolf and part vampire. You can't get any hotter than that!!!!!This book would have got a five but I think the romance was a little too quick. I know they have a connection but I would have loved for them to get to know each other a little better.

Cover talk: The cover is nothing special but I love it. I was getting tired of pretty girl in dresses. I love the simpleness. I've also seen the second books cover and I LOVE it. I can't wait for y'all to see it.

I recommend this for people who love a good shapeshifting romance with a little mystery. But I think everyone should read this!!!! This is an author that I'm going to keep an eye on. I can't wait till the next one.

4.0 out of 5 stars not bad November 20, 2012

This was a fairly good read, a little slow to start but picked up towards the end. Characters need a little more padding.

5.0 out of 5 stars More Please September 4, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Seriously... I was NOT ready for this book to end. C.M. Rawdon did an amazing job and the story flowed perfectly. Delia Rhodes is the rarest of breeds within the hybrid paranormals community. Things in her life are business as usual, working night's bartending and sleeping half the day away. Even her sexy friend, the vampire-human hybrid Seamus McDermott has finally come around and asked her out. But everything changes when Pixies start getting kidnapped and the mysterious Draven Crow shows up setting Delia's emotions on fire. Unable to control her thoughts and feels for Draven, she finds herself being pulled uncontrollably towards him. Now not only must she stop the kidnapper and find the missing pixies but also choose between the man she's been secretly crushing on for the past few years or the one that has crash landed into her life setting off a chain of events that will leave you begging for more. They only thing I did not like about this book is I think Constantine got off way to easily and deserved and more painful and drawn out ending.
