Sara Orem (1943-) grew up in Connecticut, began college and marriage in Philadelphia and migrated to Minnesota where she began to publish book reviews, financial features, and arts criticism. She co-authored a book of daily meditations, Living Simply, and began graduate school in theology.Subsequent moves to Michigan and finally northern California, brought her to a home overlooking San Francisco Bay. She has co-authored two books for coaches, Appreciative Coaching: A Positive Process for Change, and The Coach's Guide to Asset-Based Thinking and Appreciative Coaching, and is currently working on a book about becoming a leader.

Timing is of the essence and many of the passages in this book really "spoke" to me. I am considering some career and lifestyle changes and at times, Sara's passages were right on target with how I am feeling. I found it comforting to have someone "understand" my conflicts and provide honest and insightful observations and suggestions. I am even more empowered now to make some difficult as well as challanging and exciting changes in my life. This book is a definite on my gift list for friends and family.
