5.0 out of 5 stars Lyrics for I Commit to you August 23, 2003
Format:Audio CD
I Commit to You
My love for you has no boundaries
I give you my heart, I give you everything
All I want is forever
You and I as one, you and I as one
With you I feel inspired
To love for a lifetime
And I'm proud to say
On my wedding day
I do, I do
So with this ring
I commit to you
'Til death do us part, that you'll still have my heart
And I know I'll be good to you
I said "I do" to only you
For the rest of my life
My love for you grows endless
'Cause you bring out the best in me
For the rest of my life
Gonna be your wife
And so I do, boy--take my hand
Oh girl, from the depths of my soul
From the bottom of my heart
I need to tell you that I
Love you, I need you
I love you, I need you
For all time
So with this ring
I commit to you
'Til death do us part
That you'll still have my heart
And I know, I'll be good to you
I said "I do" to only you
For the rest of my life
The song was performed by T.C. Carson and Queen Latifah. It was written for executive producer Yvette Lee Bowser by her husband, Kyle. A longer version, performed by Christopher Gaddy and Pamela Bryant, can be found on the Living Single soundtrack.

4.0 out of 5 stars What happened to TC & Latifah's version? August 18, 2003
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
I have held on to a copy of the Living Single wedding that I recorded. I like this version of the song, I commit to you, however, couldn't they have also added T.C.Carson & Queen Latifah's version. I mean that's what we all fell in love with.

5.0 out of 5 stars I Commit To You October 1, 2003

Format:Audio CD
I am so happy for Christopher Gaddy for writing such a beautiful song for the Living Single soundtrack. He is a very talented writer and artist and everyone should expect to hear more from this talented gentleman. Okay I'm prejudiced...I know C. Gaddy personally and his work is amazing.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Cd September 4, 2008
By Nix
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
I was excited about getting the album for my sister who loves the song that Khadijah & Kyle sang at Overton & Synclaire's wedding. The song is on the soundtrack but it's not sung by the original characters which loses some of the meaning of the song.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great music but no theme song! April 22, 2008
Format:Audio CD
That is the reason it only gets 4 stars rather than 5! The opening theme song was a classic! Why it wasn't put on here is beyond me!

That nonwithstanding, it is actually a great soundtrack. Favorites for me was Queen Latifiah's "Ladies Night Out" (which features Latifiah singing as well as rapping) and Eric Benet with "Superwoman" (not the more popular one by Karyn White but his own). It also features Dwayne Wiggins from Tony, Toni, Tone fame with a nice slow jam called "Strawberry (1-4-3) which keeps that traditional TTT sound going on! It ends with a nice song called "I Commit To You" which is an excellent wedding song (in my opinion). For me, those tunes were the highlights.

Overall, if you can get past that whoever made this CD left off the theme song, its actually a good piece of music to listen too!
