This is a rare book that keeps on giving. I have read it about 5 times already and each time new insights and understandings emerge. This book is primarily about the higher dimensions beyond the normal three-dimensional world perceived by our senses. In our everyday experience, the fourth dimension of time enters our consciousness but in a very limited way. 'Living Time' explores the greater breadth and meaning of this fourth dimension and delves into the fifth and sixth dimension of space-time. The primary sources of this book include some of the highest thinkers in the history of human thought both known and unknown. Nicoll himself presents his keen insights and does so in a writing style that is of very high literary quality. Many wonderful visual metaphors are given to assist the reader in understanding concepts dealing with the higher-dimensional world. If you are like me and have never come across any viable and reasonable explanation of reincarnation, you may finally find it here in 'Living Time.' If you are deeply interested in philosophy, psychology and religion, this book is indeed important and of value.

I have always been an admirer of Forth Way philosophy and came across this title as a fluke. I had no idea who Maurice Nicoll was but he has a talent in communicating rather than the evasiveness so common of other authors on the subject. Additionally I've been introduced to Eureka Editions who is keeping alive the philosophy and making it available. If you have read other books regarding The Work, you can expect many new insights in this one.

Nicoll is the best summary of the work of Gurdjieff.
We know how to run the tips given by all the great avatars of humanity, which today are partly expressed by various thinkers.
This wonderful book is one part of the path to true consciousness, mapped by Nicoll books.
