Fun garden projects,
By
This review is from: Living Willow Sculpture (Paperback)
I got this book for my mother, an 84-year-old avid gardener and she was delighted. It's a small book from England and has lots of photos of garden projects to do with living willow. I think it was well worth the inexpensive price and we both look forward to trying some of the projects described.

Excellent photos. Practical how-to advice. After looking through this book I was ready to quit work and start making willow sculpture. These sculptures will bring out the kid in you. The catch is, I have to wait till late winter to harvest the willows. Willow sculpture is big in the UK and most examples are from there. You'll need to convert information for your local growing conditions and locally available species of will.

This is a good basic book on living willow projects and art. This book is 47 pages front to back not very lengthy but will give you a complete basic understanding of working with living willow.

Loved this book because it had great pictures and how to information. We are using it to learn more about creating tunnels and arbors for a nature play area. Would recommend!

This is a wonderful book for any living project. The use of willow and the idea of creating a living form, what a wonderful spark. The resources are enough to get you going and to find out more about this creative use of renewable resources.
