Father Tom Clancy writes a weekly column in "The Cork Examiner", where he takes up the Gospel of the following Sunday and comments on it in the light of the everyday happenings in the lives of his readers. The first colllection of these reflections, "Preaching the Word", was published in 1992. This second collection follows the pattern of the first, and should be of interest to those who wish to relate the Sunday Gospels to their everyday lives, such as homilists and prayer and scripture groups.

Just to make it *absolutely* clear, this was written by a priest from somewhere in the Republic Of Ireland, and not somebody with the same name from Maryland, USA.It is possible that someone may be concurrently interested in the works of both authors; but perhaps not very likely.
