The secret of Olivia’s success is no secret at all. She exercises daily and eats a simple diet based mostly on salads, vegetables, fish, chicken, and some whole grains. Recipes in Livwise have been assembled using Olivia’s own experience in the kitchen and with the help of nutritionists, friends, and chefs from Gaia, her Australian health retreat and spa. Olivia Newton John is a Artist that i have always respected and dug. very versatile artist and i liked quite a few of her songs back in the day. now reading this book on her and how she has maintained a healthy lifestyle and the food she consumes and how she goes about combining things. very real earthy and a feel good book. healthy eating and i like alot of the dishes and meals she comes up with. i went through this book recently and saw some real cool ideas to mix and match for up coming meals i want to get myself.

I preordered this item & received it very promptly. I have admired Olivia for years & have always wondered how she has stayed so healthy, even after her cancer. While Olivia has contributed some recipes, most are from her retreat in Australia. She does add little notes, etc., for recipes, whether they are hers or not. Now I know the secret, these recipes are very healthy & VERY tasty. I have not tried them all (& probably won't) - but the ones I have tried are GREAT!!

I've been a fan of Olivia Newton-John since I saw "Grease" as a little girl, so when I saw this cookbook of hers at the library, I had to borrow it (& will soon be purchasing my own copy!) Not only does this book include healthy recipes, she talks a lot about organic & natural foods, which our family has been gradually switching to over the past year. Many cookbooks usually have only a few recipes that I will use. This one, however, is full of those which I plan to use again & again.

For those people who said they'd need a trip to a health food store to make these recipes, I'd suggest checking your local grocery store again. Many have added organic & natural food sections.

Love this book, am giving it to my daughter and daughter in law, who is a vegan. the recipes are easy, tasty and a lot of them vegan friendly. Obviously good for you but an interesting perspective on healthy food.
