If, for some reason, you were looking for an illustrated comic-book style publication - with some erotic lesbian content - then the `Liz & Beth' series is probably for you.

Beth is a beautiful brunette heroine (the brains) - and Liz is her blonde (and bimbo-ish) - but equally ravishing lover. Liz always gets herself into trouble - and Beth always comes to save her.

The heterosexuality of both Liz and Beth are established early - when they make love to men. But it's their own sexual tryst with each other - and other girls - which makes for delicious eye candy.

All of the younger women in this series are beautifully shown - either fully naked or in various levels of undress. Most of the nudity depicted is from the rear - so the derrieres on these girls are heavenly. Most of the most intimate physical contact is unseen - although the oral sex (given to both men and women) is a bit more telling.

I didn't like how the older women were always the villains, with the most sinister being a 70-year-old Whistler's Mother type characters- who gets it on just as much as the babe's a fraction of her age.

What's really nice about this series is the love making between the women - which is sometimes rough - but just as often quite tender with lengthy body-to-body contact and romantic full mouth kissing.

This series was published in 1994, so the content is actually much more recent than one would've guessed. Back then, these adult comic books were probably intended for men. But it's nice, years later, that we ladies can enjoy them just as much.
