5.0 out of 5 stars Great story and exciting journey for budding explorers, July 18, 2007
This review is from: Lizzie, The Diplomatic Dog in Tbilisi, Georgia (Paperback)
This is a great book for kids. It allows them to learn about another culture, one they have probably never heard of, but that is so ancient and rich. My daughter, age 5, really enjoyed the book. We followed Lizzie's adventures all through Georgia, and it mirrored the adventures and transitions necessary for kids to make too when their parents choose this line of work. I think it's a great book to read to spark imagination and questions about far off places, and also a great book for diplomatic families to read as it addresses moving on and leaving friends, holding on to the opportunity to make new friends in the next place you land.
