From the Back Cover

Here's the 4-1-1: Now "Lizzie McGuire," the hit show from Disney Channel, is available for the first time ever in a 4-disc DVD box set! See how it all began and enjoy going back to the early years with Lizzie (Hilary Duff) in the first 22 episodes of the series. Together with her best friends Miranda and Gordo, Lizzie gets herself into all sorts of hilarious misadventures and embarrassing situations. Sometimes it involves Lizzie's pesky little brother Matt or "queen of mean" Kate or cutie Ethan. But it always involves seriously stylin' fashions and the very coolest pop music. Join America's sweetheart as she makes her way through the middle school maze.

Let me tell you, I only watched this because Hilary Duff is in it. This is the first set of three volumes, and contains all 22 episodes from seasons 1 which include:
DISC 1
Pool Party(Pilot)- 4.5/5 Lizzie and Miranda are invited to the coolest party, except Lizzie's parents won't let her because it's her aunts birthday, but Miranda can go. Gordo isn't invited. I think it was a very cute episode, and Gordo's and Lizzie's interaction is great.

Picture Day- 4.5/5 Lizzie has to go wearing an incredibly embarrassing shirt for picture day. I don't know about those kids, but I though she looked super cute. I didn't think it was that bad, but what do you expect from a kids show. Well, I don't expect much from any show really.

Rumors- 4/5 Lizzie says a no no about Kate to Miranda and Miranda accidentally sends it to all her classmates when her computer messes up. War enrages when Miranda tells Kate that she was the one that wrote it, to protect Lizzie. Poor Lizzie, so shy. I really felt for her.

I've got Rhythmic- 4.5/5 This is a good one. The first appearence from Larry Tudgeman, when he helps Kate to try and bring down Lizzie at the one thing she is good at... Rhythmic Gymnastics. Also known as the world's geekiest sport, but Kate gets jealous anyway.

When Moms Attack- 5/5 This is hilarious! Lizzie and her class get to go on a vacation, but the chaperone is no longer able to make it, so they get a replacement at the last second... Lizzie's mother. You have to watch this one, I love the war between boys and girls. Go GIRLS! Hey, I happen to like them, despite myself being a guy. I probably could have phrased that better to make more sense.

Jack of all Trades- 4.

"Lizzie McGuire" is a fantastic, entertaining and well-written series, targeted mainly at the pre-teens set, but adults are also likely to enjoy themselves too. The series follows Lizzie McGuire (Hilary Duff) and her two best friends Miranda (Lalaine) and Gordo (Adam Lamberg) as they deal with school, parents, bratty little brothers and everything in between. Kids will be able to relate to Lizzie's problems with her mother and father and her desire to fit in with the `cool crowd'. At certain times, the animated version of Lizzie appears, to say things that the real Lizzie would be perhaps too scared to say. This box set contains all the episodes from the award-winning first season of the Disney Channel/ABC series.

"Pool Party" - Lizzie is invited to the all-important pool party, but will she be able to go?

"Picture Day" - The dreaded day has arrived, and Lizzie's mother wants her to wear the cute pink sweater that her grandmother made!

"Rumours" - Lizzie starts a rumour about super-popular Kate, which soon backfires onto Miranda and Gordo.

"I've Got Rhythmic" - Lizzie has finally discovered a sport she's actually good at...the only trouble is that it's rhythmic gymnastics.

"When Mom Attacks" - Lizzie is overjoyed she'll have a weekend away from her parents at the school camp, but when her mother volunteers to chaperone, the real nightmare begins.

"Jack of All Trades" - Lizzie and her friends take a test to determine their future jobs. And why does Matt insist that everyone should call him M-Dogg?

"Misadventures in Babysitting" - Lizzie is finally trusted to babysit Matt by herself, but her father remains skeptical.

"Election" - Lizzie runs for Class President, but soon power goes to her head.

will there be a volume two?
none so far... but if ever, they should release a "Complete Series" release in DVD or Blu-Ray (both having remastered audio and video, if ever).
