I am a third grader. I liked this book very much.
One day a family planned a summer vacation. They were going on a hiking trip for a week with llamas. Sarah the daughter didn't want to go because llamas spit and she thinks they are gross. A few days later they are off to the campsite. A man named Gary helped them get their llamas. They had chicken for dinner, read a few chapters of Swiss Family Robinson (another great book) and went to bed. The next day they started hiking. They met other campers, a man and a boy named Zeke. They had many adventures. A bear ate all of their food and they even went over a waterfall!
Find out all of the adventures for yourself! I liked this book It was exciting and fun.

I am doing it for a book report in school.It's about this family that decides to go on a hiking trip to the mountains but sarah,the little girl,doesn't want to go on the hike when she learns that llamas are going to be coming with them because she knows that llamas spit.When she gets there she meets a boy named Zeke.She doesn't like him very much because he litters alot.Then,one day,they find Blue Star backing into a pine tree with Zeke on his back!Zeke doesn't mess with the llamas after that.Also,Compo runs away.This story is full of fun and laughs,adventures and mystery.Everyone should read this book!
