Llewellyn's 2006 Astrological Pocket Planner: Daily Ephemeris & Aspectarian 2005-2007

I recently received an E-mail questioning the difference between Llewellyn's DAILY PLANETARY GUIDE and their ASTRO POCKET PLANNER. After replying to the E-mail, I had the brain spark to post a short review here quoting my reply to that question:

The DPG and APP are possibly two of the best options available for anyone who wants to follow planetary movements and aspects.

I haven't seen a physical copy of the Astro Pocket Planner recently, but in years past, it had most of the same info (including planetary movement in addition to Moon machinations, along with an ephemeris in the back of the calendar pages).

The main difference between these two was that the Pocket Planner was smaller than DPG, with a couple months per opened, double page instead of a week. The PP doesn't have room for making notes on each day, but it is easier to carry in a purse. The DPG has a strong spiral binding, to be used to makes notes in a daily planner, and is about the size of a folded sheet of regular sized paper (8-1/2"X11"). The PP (in the past) has had a stapled binding and has been about half the size and half the thickness of the DPG.

Possibly Llewellyn's web site has more info on each item, though I enjoy Amazon's ease of shopping for online purchase, as well as their generous offering of space for customer reviews.
