5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful + Informative = 5 Stars
I love this calendar, the amount of information in it is exceptional for just a yearly wall calendar. I'm definitely going to cut out and save the articles and writing in the calendar. The pictures and all the artwork is lovely, although I might say the art style is a bit repetitive but I guess that makes sense when it comes to keeping it all in one theme. A wiccan...

2.0 out of 5 stars Gallery of the Damned
I have been purchasing these calendars since the first was published and each year, the artwork is less interesting that the year before. The monstrous human figures depicted by Jennifer Hewiston, the artist (and believe me, I use the term loosely), are grotesque. In a witches' calendar, I expect graphics that convey a sense of the old religion--witches dancing under a...

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful + Informative = 5 Stars, November 1, 2008
This review is from: Llewellyn's 2009 Witches' Calendar (Annuals - Witches' Calendar) (Calendar)
A wiccan calendar like this is hard to come upon, it's a must-have for any witch! The 2009 Llwellyn Witches' Datebook is surely a perfect pair for this item so make sure to buy them together. A++ !

I have been purchasing these calendars since the first was published and each year, the artwork is less interesting that the year before. The monstrous human figures depicted by Jennifer Hewiston, the artist (and believe me, I use the term loosely), are grotesque. In a witches' calendar, I expect graphics that convey a sense of the old religion--witches dancing under a full moon, ancient stone circles, maypoles, jack-o-lanterns, a fortune teller, perhaps a wicker man--not substandard artwork that looks like it was bought at a going-out-of-business sale at a Gallery of the Damned!

Too many to list!) We purchase one every year and love to actually READ the information contained within.

1.0 out of 5 stars FULL MOON MISTAKE!!!!!!, March 10, 2009
This review is from: Llewellyn's 2009 Witches' Calendar (Annuals - Witches' Calendar) (Calendar)
The 2009 Calendar lists the Full Moon for March (Storm Moon) as being Full at 10:38 pm on March 10th but EVRY other calendar in THE WORLD lists it as being Full on March 11th at 2:38pm!!! If they got THIS(Full Moon) wrong...what ELSE is inaccurate in this "calendar"?! (and I mean besides their refusal to use the Witches term "Dark of the Moon" & their insistence on using the christian term "new Moon " and using the sameold, exhausted artists & poetesses!) I WILL find a REAL Witches calendar that's accurate SOMEWHERE!!!!

This review is from: Llewellyn's 2009 Witches' Calendar (Annuals - Witches' Calendar) (Calendar)
This is the second year that i've purchased the Witch's Calendar. I love the moon and planetary information, and the bits of Wiccan history are great. It helps me to plan my mundane life and my rituals properly, not to mention is presented in a beautiful, easy to use format.
