5.0 out of 5 stars Buy this one!
This is a 'must have' calendar, especially for correct dates and times of moon void of course and retrograde Mercury.

3.0 out of 5 stars No asteroids!?
As a professional astrologer, I've used this calendar for many years. On the plus side it is spiral bound, lays flat, has ample space for appointments plus a "to do" list, major aspects of the planets, moon phases, etc.
Several years ago this guide featured the major asteroids, with aspects, as well as the planets. This feature I loved! Alas no more asteroids...

I didn't realize that this was a day calendar. I thought it was a book explaining astrological things. It looks very interesting and might have a little more information on each day than the pocket planner. This is useful for anyone interested in planning their days based on astrology. As usual, product came before expected date from Amazon.

Several years ago this guide featured the major asteroids, with aspects, as well as the planets. This feature I loved! Alas no more asteroids. Perhaps the publisher will rethink this omission in the future. I still use this calendar because it is the best available, even without those important little bodies, which I use extensively in my work with financial astrology and the analysis of murderers and celebrities. As an astrologer who always wants to know more and to see what is hidden from obvious view, I am looking forward to future inclusion of asteroids.

I never go without this calendar which I keep on the piano where I teach piano. Always handy to refer to and plenty of space to write in.

I'm a professional astrologer. I ordered this item because the daily guide I usually purchase annually wasn't available this year. I'm glad that happened because I now prefer this format. Its inclusion of daily aspects with exact times for both Eastern and Pacific Time Zones are particularly useful. I also like the more visually helpful presentation of void of course moon occurences. The textual notes include planetary hours, sunset and sunrise times for the year, eclipse dates, planetary retrograde periods, and a good summary of the year's major planetary phenomena -- all in easy reference formats. Just a good, useful reference.

5.0 out of 5 stars OMG! Is the Moon Void-of-Course?!?!?!?!?!?!?, April 29, 2008

Ever get caught entering legal agreements and contracts that just go all wrong, or nowhere at all?
Never again with Llewellyn's Daily Planetary Guide. Keep your finger on the pulse of the galaxy with this handy dandy calendar book. Now, when I wake to find the moon in Scorpio, I just lower my expectations of a light and carefree day, and just accept that all I meet will either have their claws out or want to make a pass at me.
In Llewellyn's Daily Planetary Guide you'll also find some dates and times marked as "Opportunity Periods," or "OP." These are times when, according to Jim Shawson, "...the Universe opens the gates of opportunity."
To think my life may have turned out this way because I've simply failed to plan my fortune using this information.
Geez.
Now if only I can get everyone else to agree to sign contracts, buy my house, and close on the new house after 9:19 pm and before 02:35 am, May 21, my life will be complete.
Seriously, though, this calendar book is my favorite just because of stuff like this- it's good fun.
