I own many recordings with performances by Jordi Savall and the talented people (like Hesperion) who work with him. This is my favorite. It is a wonderful interpretation and performance of an Early Music treasure that would otherwise be lost to obscurity.

A wonderful interpretation and presentation of Milan, as well as a great taste of the music of the period. This particular string/percussion quintet adds a lush texture to Milan's work that I have not heard before. I heartily recommend this CD to anyone who just loves good music -- Period.
