The album that launched the mighty Earthtone 9 onto the unsuspecting world. This is a great debut as it introduces us to the uncompromising E9 sound and has a batch of killer songs. `Withered' is an absolute classic and one of the bands best songs, and is notable for ending with one of the best riffs I've heard in ages. The production is a little rough around the edges compared with the band's other two albums but this is more than adequate for a debut album (and still superior to a lot of major label albums), and it also, gives the album a `live' feel to it. I definitely suggests that you check out some Earthtone 9, and although Off Kilter Enhancement and `Arc'tangent' are better starting points, this is still a excellent release and comes highly recommended.

UK MUSIC AT IT'S BEST,

Who says the UK music scene is crap. It's toatally awesome. Along with Stampin' Ground and Medulla Nocte, Earthtone 9 rock the living crap out of your stereo. Heavy, emotional even dark at times, the 'TONE will not disapoint. Quite unlike anything else out there, buy this CD and thier follow up album 'OFF KILTER ENHANCEMENT' and I promise you will not be disapointed. They SHREAD.
