As a kid, I remember how kind and generous my second uncle was (Rene Herrera). Now that I am older, I realized the reason for his kindness and it reflects on the very same songs that made them who they are. These were songs that I listen to when I was just a little boy and barely remember, until recently when in the mid-ninties their music was digitally remastered and re-released. I just recently purchased my first music CD, and it was then I realized how great this music really was and still is. I highly recommend this CD to anyone, especially people who are collector's or are devoted musicians who appreciate some of the first and best Latin artists who's music was the first to brake down barriers, and crossover to the American music scene.

this is the most wonderful album ever - I love it because it reminds me of my childhood in a rural area I grew up. I love the songs on this album. "Believe me when I say how much I love this album"

I ordered this CD for Lo Mucho Que Te Quiero because my mom used to sing it to me as a child. It's exactly what I remember, so I would give the song 5 stars if I could. The rest of the cd is a little cheesy for my tastes, but it's not horrible.

This CD is great. Lo Mucho Que Te Quiero (The More I Love You) is a tune that is sung in both Spanish and English and is one of the best Latin oldies out there. Highly Recommended.

This song I gave as a present to my girlfriend(Now My Wife) in 1971. Its one of the nicest songs I heard. Its nice to find it back on a CD after 29 years. We were both very excited.

I was named Renee after two men who wrote the greatest love song.Cause now he really knew Love my father use to tell me that when I was a young girl. It has been 25 since I have heard this song. Today know a parent with my own daughter(6yrs.old).Today, she woke up singing "Believe me when I say how I Love You" and continued to sing this song. I looked at her & said where did you hear that song, her sweet reply was her angel Julian(my father whom past away 12 years ago this month).Julia, listen to me sing you this song, I know music in your heart and in soul, baby girl sing this one for me. Then he told me mama this song will make you famous one day! I had tears running down my face. She knew all the words and melody. Until today the I did not know the name of this song. I barely knew the the english verse. if you only knew my daughter piano was her first word. Being a famous has been in her daily prayers since she can talk everything is music I need lesson on the guitar, mommy I need lesson in singing I need lesson in is an everyday need in her life. I never believed it was more than a child who loves music until this morning. Her last words before I drop of to school where "Mama,One day it will be me". My dreams and prayers are bieng answered.This song has touched our hearts in so many ways I can't begin to express the emotion I feeling right now.
