Amazing Hard Rock!!!,

Somewhere between Revis and Shinedown on the "heaviness" scale, you will find Lo-Pro. This band encorporates some suprisingly intense riffing with almost-elegant vocal phrasing. Very well-written songs from beginning to end! Check out the sound samples and see for yourself: This is a must purchase!!!

I was just able to catch Lo-Pro live in Austin, TX yesterday and they are more incredible live than on CD - which is saying a lot because I can't get enough of this CD. Since purchasing it on its release date, this album has been in constant rotation in my car. Lo-Pro's debut CD has a nice blend of hard and heavy hitting songs with a few mellow, down tempo songs thrown in. For the most part, it is rockin' guitar with Pete's incredibly emotional vocals layered across the top. It isn't angry for the sake of being angry or full of cuss words just for the sake of saying them, it is real and honest music. The album begins with "Fuel" which is one of my favorites on the album - being one of the heavier songs, it gets the album started off with a crunchy guitar sound. Another of my favorites on the album are the first single, "Sunday," which includes some of my favorite lyrics on the album ("I hacked myself to bits for you again..."). The song "Thread" features melodic guitars and incredible vocals (Pete can sing - not just scream, though he does a fair bit of that too). The album finishes on a more mellow note with "Bombz," which is another of my top picks on the album - the drums providing a steady backdrop for acoustic and electric guitars with layered vocal harmonies. This first CD leaves me wanting more! Its distinctive melodies and catchy hooks will have you singing "Sunday" every day of the week.

Just a great sound and not in the mainstream,

Probably the best unheard of album in the genre. Feels like Sunday is a 10 out of 10. A million ways to feel nothing is a solid song as well. This group deserved more attention than they got, but that is the business. This is worth paying full price, much less landing it at a sale price. I bought mine for $1, and would have given $14 new for it had I known how good it was.
