Lobsterman,
By A Customer

My kids love this book. The illustrations are fantastic and kids from 2 and up will love the story. It is a great glimpse of the fishing life in New England and a great house present for familes with kids who love the seashore.

A boy and his dad in a Maine village, lobstering. Ipcar, who wrote One Horse Farm, tells a gentle tale of days gone by in a way that holds the calm attention of a child. So glad we got it!

Lobsterman (children's book),

This book is factual and tells a decent story-a good combination for a child's book. It doesn't convey the dangers of lobster fishing, but it does tell how the lobsterman and his young son prepare for and then go lobstering. The only down side to the book is it illustrations, but they are decent despite the lack of many colors. I liked it so much that I bought a second copy for my young cousin.
