This review is from: Locating Consensus for Democracy - A Ten-Year U.S. Experiment (Paperback)

...It is now May of 2003. With your help and God willing, we may well live to see the thesis of this important book come to pass.

Representative government has imploded, consent of the governed is no longer a Presidential or Congressional concern..... Americans and the whole world know it, and it is now time for real Democracy, at home and abroad.

In this interesting book Mr Kay's thesis is,...If statistical polls work so well, (+/- 3%) why don't we use "public interest polls" to determine what the people want and govern accordingly?

Well that's a no brainer don't you think?.... Will you participate in reclaiming and strengthening our democratic heritage, the once bright pride of our national heritage?

Please consider the National Initiative for Democracy, <[...]> Your input on that effort will further the purpose of this book and help bring new values to Old Glory.

If not now, when?
If not you and me, who?
