This book is about stereo mike techniques for recording orchestral performances and live concerts, but doesn't provide much info on recording location sound i.e. film sound if that's what you're looking for.

"On Location Recording Technques" is out of print, but the exact same information (updated) is in my book "Recording Music On Location."
