This book is now called "Recording Music On Location"
"On Location Recording Technques" is out of print, but the exact same information (updated) is in my book "Recording Music On Location." Bruce Bartlett, author Recording Music on Location, Second Edition

Good book for stereo mike techniques.
This book is about stereo mike techniques for recording orchestral performances and live concerts, but doesn't provide much info on recording location sound i.e. film sound if that's what you're looking for.

This is the only book I've seen on this topic. It's timely, clearly written, and full of useful information both for pop and classical recording.
