The mid ninities revival of hip-hop party music spawned by artists such as DJ Kool is truly in evidence on the CD. Released by the same independent record label that dropped "Let Me Clear My Throat", "Lockdown" flaunts all the off-cuff stage drama that makes live hip-hop powerful.

Sam The Beast was all that for a party in the '90's
Knock Knock can be heard today when the dj has a good set going.
Gucci Dance was hot at the time now it's ok but kind of dated
40 below is hot but unknown still, it you play it, you can't help but like it
A big one for me
