4.0 out of 5 stars Lock On No. 22 - F-15E Strike Eagle, March 30, 2000
This review is from: Lock On No. 22 - McDonnell Douglas F-15 E Strike Eagle (Paperback)
This is an excellent book if you want color pictures of the F-15E for modeling purposes (like myself). They are clear and detailed pictures of a brand new F-15E. The cockpit photos are outstanding and numerous, as are the photos of the underside of the aircraft including the landing gear. The book does lack pictures of the upper surfaces of the F-15E, and there are very few pictures of opened access panels. This is understandable, considering the pictures were taken during the time when the F-15E was still considered "sensitive" or "secret". Perhaps the publisher will update the book with additional photos in the near future. In the meantime, I highly recommend the book, especially if you are building a scale model and need more detail about the F-15E.
