I bought this pitcher because I have 3 teenagers and they tend to spill things from time to time. I love this pitcher because the lid locks down and when tipped it doesn't spill. It fits great in the fridge and cupboards. I've washed it several times in the dishwasher and it comes out great. I even wash it on the bottom rack, there has been no warping or discoloration. It is great.

This product holds up to its name, if the Pitcher turns over in your refrigerator you can bet nothing spills out; you can put all kinds of juice in it, its great, I'm gonna buy the bigger size.

This lock and lock pitcher does not seal liquid tight. If you shake the pitcher it will leak from the lid.

I have both the 8.5 cup (2 liter) and the and the 1 gallon version of these pitchers and I am very pleased with them both. The first thing I noticed when I got them was the hiss I heard when I first popped the top on them. That would mean that they are air tight, though that is not really a concern of mine. I just don't want the thing leaking on me. I was not disappointed. The top of the container snaps into place easily and is held firmly in place with latches on both sides. The pour spout cap, while easy to open and close, fits firmly into place when closed. OK, so after having been disappointed with many pitchers in the past, I was optimistic with my initial assessment of these new pitchers, but I was still a little wary of trusting any pitcher....so I decided to test it further.

I filled the 2 liter pitcher up with water and sealed the cap. I then held it over the sink and turned it completely upside down. I expected there to at least be some leaking around the edge of the lid, and fully expected the cap to be forced open under the stress, but there was not even a hint of a leak. I was impressed. Granted, you aren't going turn your pitchers upside down on a regular basis, but I have had pitchers that leaked just from simply tilting it when taking it out of the refrigerator, or when pouring. It's nice to know that the seal is secure and I won't have any major spillage if I accidentally knock it over. Since then I have felt confident enough to actually use it to shake up drinks that settle. I have to admit that I suspected that over time the cap on the pour spout would loosen and not be as secure, however, I just tried that experiment again a few minutes ago and it is still holding firm over 6 months later.

The smaller 8.5 cup (2 Liter) pitcher is a nice compact size that is easy to handle. The 1 gallon size is obviously larger and heavier. I highly recommend these pitchers.

Great pitcher. BPA free, no-spill spout, and nice handle. Also its shape fits in fridge well and top has snug fit but is easy to remove for refilling. I liked it so much I bought two more.

I ordered this because of the great reviews. As soon as I opened it up and cleaned it, I made some apple juice for the little ones. When I poured it into a glass from the spout, more apple juice poured out of the lip all over the place. I unlocked the lid, relocked and it still leaked. Tried several times before I gave up. I don't know if I just got a bum pitcher and I'm not sure if I should try another. I love the sleek design of this pitcher. It doesn't look as if you could fit 2 liters of anything in it, but you really can, however, this one is going back. :(

Sorry. It didn't work for me. I immediately (after cleaning it) made a regular run-of-the-mill pitcher of normal iced tea. The back leaked badly (not even drippy, it just plain leaked).

I understand many of these work famously for people, but I've seen a few reviews where people had the same negative experience, and it seems like it's enough of a failure rate to make it a questionable investment. And of course on something like this, I don't know if it makes sense to return it. At least it can be a regular pitcher. Annoying.

Oh well...

I was looking to replace some old Tupperware jugs that I use to make orange juice from concentrate. These old jugs leaked, sometimes a lot. I was getting tired of cleaning up the sticky messes left behind.
I decided to try both the Lock & Lock jug and the jugs by Klip-It. It was no contest. I can completely fill the Lock & Lock, turn it upside down, and not a single drip! I did the same with the Klip-It jug and it immediately started leaking between the lid and the body. I returned the Klip-It jugs and I'm ordering more of the Lock & Lock jugs. Completely satisfied with this product.
