5.0 out of 5 stars A trip into a living hell!, July 16, 2005

This review is from: Lockdown Madness (Paperback)
After reading this book, I began to wonder how someone could spend so many years working in a jail and not lose their mind. In my nearly 14 years as a police officer I have arrested hundreds of people and had to deal with their antics for maybe a couple of hours at a time, so I cannot fathom working inside a jail and dealing with it for 8, 10 or 12 hours a day. It truly takes a special person to be able to put up with the violence and insanity inside a jail or prison, and my hat goes off to those men and women who are able to do it, day in and day out. If you have ever wondered what it is like to spend time in jail, then you MUST read this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Lockdown Madness ....true accounts, July 17, 2005
By
This review is from: Lockdown Madness (Paperback)
I attempt to take the reader into a jail of madness, laughter, excitement and realism no one else can. You will often find yourself alongside of me as we go into gear on a jail incident, inmate matter or disturbance, sharing with me a different world few experience in one of the roughest jails to work, in the USA!
My book is easy to read, will provide a learning experience for some, my accounts are as true as I can remember them, and sure to keep most reader's eyes open, their attention & interest throughout my book. My book has been endorsed by Stan Riegel of Riegel & Associates. My book will certainly be a nice read and sure to be recommended by most readers soon! Due to my real name being so long I used my pen name "Jim Daly" as author to shorten my signature at book signings.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent account of life on the inside of prison., July 17, 2005
By
This review is from: Lockdown Madness (Paperback)
Lockdown madness is an excellent account of life on the inside of prison. Jim Daly takes you right into the middle of the action and puts you next to some of the most dangerous criminals society has to offer. "Lockdown Madness" should be reminder to all of us that there are men and women that put their lives on the line everyday not only on the streets of America, but also behind the walls of prison.

5.0 out of 5 stars extraordinary wonderful book, March 12, 2006

This review is from: Lockdown Madness (Paperback)
This is an extraordinary Book! I spent years being the wife to an inmate and heard of stories from my husband like those of this author. To hear the side of the jailer is an extreme eye-opener and demands respect to those who live there lives with the sickest of all human beings! The Author is very truthful and open as he takes you threw years of his life. I found myself laughing out loud, and other times holding my breath! I read 75% of the book the first time i opened it! it's a book you will want to read till you finish. This book will be read more then once by me. Wonderful Job Author, looking forward to your next book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Lockdown Madness, February 22, 2006
This review is from: Lockdown Madness (Paperback)
Lockdown Madness is an absolute thriller. His experiences working as an Corrections Officer will surely grip any readers attention. Throughout his book he dealt with some of the most dangerous ruthless criminals incarcerated in the corrections facilities. One mistake with these folks meant certain injury or death for the corrections officer. The book is very informative on Correction policy and guidelines. Action packed and a great thriller for all readers who like Law Enforcement stories.~Dale Ford, Author,"Inconceivable Danger"; Chief of Southern Corrections Prison, Retired Narcotics Police Investigator, Vietnam Veteran
