This review is from: Locked Rooms: The Three Coffins; To Wake the Dead; The Skeleton in the Clock (Mystery Guild Lost Classics Omnibus) (Hardcover)
I'm new to JD Carr, an was surprised at the rather "penny dreadful" style of all the Gideon Fell's I've looked at so far. Everyone is in high dudgeon, lots of exclamation marks riddle the texts, and, that said, must praise the plots. They are full of red herrings, odd twists, and surprising characterizations.
I'm looking forward to reading all of them,

Seller shipped out the book almost immediately; the price was among the best listed on the web and the books themselves, by John Dickson Carr, are fantastic reading. Couldn't have expected any better.
