This book fills a big gap in my aviation library.,

Overall, this book is a fairly well written book, aside from numerous typographical and grammatical errors (doesn't anyone proofread manuscripts anymore?), as well as one photo in the color section that's printed twice. The author could have said more about the location of some of the photos--i.e., where the photo was taken, and more information on where the various units were based. This book is a nice addition to the aviation enthusiast's library.

What a great book! A truly enjoyable read cover to cover with fantastic historic photos - quite a few I have never seen!
This title and a trip to Washington's TWO Air and Space museums are HIGHLY recommended!! |
