Bought this at a local store to glue fabric in my car that had come loose from the door. I am pleased as the fabric is holding well, there are no lumps and most importantly this glue DID NOT stain or discolor anything.

I looked around for a long time trying to find a product that would help seal a tear in our vinyl seat (in the car). Although the tear was really small we wanted to keep it from spreading. This stuff did the trick. It dried quickly (although we let it dry for at least 24 hours to make sure), it goes on and dries clear. Would absolutely recommend to someone looking to stop the spread of a dreaded tear in a car seat. Very reasonable cost.

I've used it only twice, for repairs to a canvas gas-grill cover, but the repair was invisible and appears to be holding well--it's flexible, dried quickly, and was easy to work with. I use wax paper with repairs like these, so the adhesive sticks only to the surface it's supposed to adhere to. I laid a piece of wax paper on the work bench, placed the torn section of the canvas on it (and weighted it down all around so it wouldn't move), positioned the torn edges together, applied the Loctite, placed a piece of similar material over the tear, placed another piece of wax paper over that, applied weight to the top of that, and let it dry. Job done! (The wax paper peels right off without leaving any traces.)

This product is described as a plastic adhesive but on the back of the package it lists most of the common plastic types, including Polystyrene, Polyethylene and Polypropylene as not recommended.

Additionally if you order this stocked by Amazon directly they are required to us ground shipping only due to the hazardous material it contains. So no 2 day even if you have a Prime account. To add insult to injury when you do get it and find you can't use it they will refuse to accept a return on the grounds that they cannot accept hazardous materials back.

My recliner chair seam came apart, so I got this Loctite achesive. One ounce is plenty. But it's low viscosity, so a drop spilled on my leather recliner and made a stain. But it's a tiny stain. So I put some of the adhesive on some paper and then spread it on both sides of the seam. Then I pressed the two pieces together and it was re-attached as well as it could be. I applied some tape over it and let it sit for a few hours. Then I removed the tape and the chair is fixed. This is a great adhesive product for fabrics and leather. It holds very strongly, and yet is flexible enough so that it moves with the fabric. The consistency is perhaps a little thinner than I would have liked, but once you know that, you can apply the adhesive sparingly. It works great.

I have a Mountain Hardwear shell with a couple velcro strips and a piece of trim that had come loose. MH would certainly have fixed it for me, if I went to the trouble to return it for repair. But it was a lot easier to use the Loctite to fix it myself. The adhesive is a little thinner than I expected, but it certainly did the trick. It did not damage the Conduit fabric or bleed through to the other side. It's been a month or so and I've had no problems with the fix.

Its flexible when it dries so it was perfect for some rips in my vinyl couch. Used to repair a rip in a seam prior to using a vinyl repair kit. Harsh smelling so be careful.

I used this to glue some patches to my convertible top. After I let it cure overnight in my garage I thought it was good to go but the patch started to come off after a few months. I imagine it does better if you're using it to glue something that doesn't move like a vinyl top and don't expose it to prolonged heat. I'm not sure if anything will work well in those conditions though.
