I usually use another brand of quick setting epoxy, but the store I was at didn't have any, so I bought this instead.

I purchased this product to repair my car's window from my local Home Depot for $4.94 including tax. The plastic clips holding my cars window to the regulator was broken and the replacement cost to fix it was nearly $300 (the cost of a new window because the plastic clips aren't sold individually) so I decided to go on a limb and try this product, I figured it was worth a try to save $. I specifically purchased this product due to the fact that it bonded plastic and glass, and the reason why I picked this epoxy over the gorilla glue epoxy, and other epoxy's was the p.s.i. rating on this for metal, if I recall correctly it was 3200psi? This is very strong, and even though I wasn't using the product on a metal surface it seemed like the best product for my application. The product was really easy to use I used pieces of cardboard as a mixing pallet and those "free paint mixing sticks" from the home depot to mix the two formulas together. I spent about 15min. sanding with 60 grit sand paper- removing adhesives on the glass and plastic piece before applying the product to the window which took me about 20-25min due to the fact I had to apply this epoxy to 4 sides (5-5.5 min per side, I used the entire bottle of epoxy). The trick to getting this product to work properly especially in a high bond strength application like this one is prepping the surfaces; without prepping the surfaces by roughening it up the epoxy has nothing to adhere to (I would recommended using any sand paper 60grit and under, this process does leave scratches on the glass and plastic, so only sand the surfaces you wish to apply the epoxy on and make sure the finished sanded surface is clear of any loose debris)...Read more ›

When the interior door handle of my Lincoln Town Car snapped in half, I went to Ford to purchase a new handle. Ford informed me that a door handle was no longer considered a separate part and I would need to purchase the complete interior door skin for $840.00 (plus labor).

Loctite fixed the problem for less than $6.00. I hope I didn't put too many Ford mechanics out of work.

I've never used epoxy before, just super glues and the like. I wanted something stronger to glue a metal motor casing to a specific plastic piece, and it worked great! I was really surprised by this stuff, it does indeed set in 5 minutes, and gets even stronger over maybe 30 minutes. The package says wait overnight i think, but i think it's plenty strong after 30 minutes. The tubes don't really get clogged either if you wipe of the residual glue (i don't use the nozzles). The only thing I don't like is the smell...WOW! I mean it won't fill your house or anything, but within 6 feet of it, even after it's dried it still does IMO, it really stinks, and before it sets it's bad enough it makes me a little queasy. Other than that great stuff! Oh yes, if you can, try to roughen the surfaces of the things you are gluing together. It'll still be pretty strong if you don't, but it really makes a difference when you do.

It will do the job. Jus be aware that this product does not dry clear. I caught the fine print before I used it. It dries yellow.

I bought this product to glue a broken oil lamp. I glued the oil reservoir to the base. It was almost transparent and very easy to use. The bond was excellent. I would recommend this product for glass repair because of the great bonding power, ease of use, and it's resistance to petroleum products and water. Great product.

I bought this epoxy to mount my dishwasher mounts to the underside of my granite countertop. It worked great and didn't smell very much. I have used it before and when I searched online to figure out how to secure my dishwasher and they suggested epoxy I purchased this product.

I set the mounts using some clamps for just about 10 minutes then removed the clamps, waited overnight, then screwed my dishwasher to the mounts. They have held for over two months now (dishwasher is used probably 3x per week). The adhesive the granite installers used didn't last two weeks!

I recommend stirring the mixture in, and applying it with something disposable because it will not be coming off.

I've used epoxy to repair all sorts of things, this epoxy is outrageously strong. I've used it on all sorts of materials from wood to metal to plastic with great results on everything. The first time I had seen it used I had seen a guy at work use the 5 minute epoxy to glue a set of deer antlers onto a hardhat and it completely blew my mind when they didn't fall off. I was hooked after seeing that... The big thing to remember when you use this is to make sure you do a good job mixing the two parts together.

Bought some other epoxy - that had a two hour set time. That didn't work at all. Try holding something just right for two hours. After waiting the final cure time the multi-ton epoxy didn't hold. Guess I moved it too much.

Tried using some old (but unopened) epoxy I found in a drawer with a 1 minute set time. That would have been fine, but the epoxy was too old and didn't set right.

This was just about my last option. I was able to hold the item must fine for 5 minutes. Now I'll wait 24 hours and see how the hold is. If it sucks, I'll be back to edit this review.
