I'm a technician at a dealership. I used this product for the first time yesterday on some bolts which are notorious for breaking off and turning the repair into a nightmare. I was a bit skeptical, so I tried wrenching on them a good bit before using this product. As expected, they didn't budge. I proceeded to spray the bolts for about 5 seconds each then give it another try. They didn't move at first, but as I held a steady pressure, I felt the bolt break loose. Still skeptical, I tried another bolt before spraying. Sprayed and waited the 1-2 minutes, and the bolt practically fell off in comparison. I continued trying this for all 6 bolts, and every time, the bolt came off much easier than before this product. I noticed the key was to allow the product to sit for the recommended 1-2 minutes. It turned an all day job into a 1 1/2hrs job. I still doubt it'll work on much larger bolts like a lug bolt, but it works fantastic on small and medium size bolts.

I was trying to get a crankshaft bolt unscrewed with this, since it claims the bolt gets frozen really cold and thereby becomes easy to move. But it never worked, even after using half the can on the one big bolt, I couldn't undo it even with a 350 lbs ft impact driver (the bolt is torqued to 180 lbs ft). Not surprisingly, I finally had to get the bolt undone at a workshop using an air compressor impact gun.

Of course, this is not to say the product doesn't work... perhaps it's simply not suitable for a big bolt (19mm hex)... they need to state this on the can. I've yet to try it on smaller bolts.

I had a few bolts which I had to take off, I tried almost everything, even ordering penetrant from the states, PB Blaster, BG in Force, amongst the usual suspects, WD40, WD40 Blue works, WD40 Specialist. I had to remove a gas tank with 1/2 a tank of fuel in it, so I couldn't use heat or angle grind the heads off, Wot to do? I had spent 3 weeks spraying other concoctions on it. My preferred 50% Acetone, and 50% ATF could not be used as it had to go in upside down! Having exhausted 8 cans, of various stuff, I tried this the bolts turned! I thought well it ,must be a fluke, all the other penetrants I had thrown at the fasteners must have worked and this was just final one I had applied. Anyway I next tired it by itself on a bolt. I waited about two minutes and thought right it practically came off! This is superb! Having spent nearly $300 on rust penetrating fluids this is my go to product. It is reasonably priced to especially when I have bought some products costing 3 times as much!

As a trial I had been attacking my dad old car, (sentimentally) to release the fasteners from that. Again having sprayed it with all manner of penetrants, they did not yield. Left handed drill bits, not commonly available in England, stud extractors, you name it. I sprayed it with this, I had snapped the head off the fasteners previously to application of all penetrants, and using left handed drills extractores. I hit one of the bolts with a a chisel and it was shaking. I placed a magnet over the head and turned it! To my amazement it actually started to spin in the direction I tuned the magnet! This is good stuff, I have just ordered a case.

I had a morse taper drive frozen in my wood lathe. No amount of banging would break it loose. When the Loctite Freeze & Release arrived, just a light tap released it.

I used this to remove and replace a 10" wheel stuck on a Hand Truck/trolley. I had given up on removing it and this was a last resort. Sprayed it on the circular bearing and everything in contact with the axle and pounded with a rubber mallet after 2 minutes as instructed. No go. Sprayed it again and forgot about it for about ten minutes then pounded it again- the wheel flew out and almost struck my foot. The axle didn't have any damage or pitting and most of the rust was on the circular bearing on the wheel which was trash anyway.

After spending literally hours trying to break loose some shackle and leaf spring bolts on my '85 Jeep, this stuff finally made it so I could get the works apart. It came recommended to me from a buddy, and what a difference it made. Took roughly the better part of 4 afternoons on the first side, and only 5 hours on the second side. May sound like a lot of time, but that's what it's like working on an older vehicle.

This is a great product. It works good. I find it works even better on stubborn seized bolts if you heat them up first than spray this product on it. If done right the bolts come off like they are brand new.

it worked on slightly seized bolts but not at all on the badly seized ones. Had to use the oxy-acetylene torch.
