Beautiful color red. Have had it about 3-4 months and so far so good. It cooks evenly and cleans up nicely (I only hand wash). I highly recommend.

I have both the 7-quart and 5-quart Dutch Ovens by Lodge and have been very happy with both. Besides being versatile and beautiful, they provide all of the benefits of heavy-duty iron cookware without the need for heavy-duty clean up. Best of all, the porcelain enamel surface is non-reactive something that was always a problem with the original cast iron cookware.

A wonderful dutch oven with a tight lid that keeps the food from drying out over extended cooking times. Heat speads evenly so there are no spots that can burn food. Easy to clean!

I was ready to purchase the expensive French dutch oven. I heard good things about the Lodge and took a chance and got it for about 1/2 the price of the other brand. I am 100% happy with it. It is ultra heavy and really a great looking piece of cookware.

I have already contacted the Lodge Mfg. company re: this product & the quality of it. I rec'd it as a gift, and the enamel began to chip off after 4 uses. I am currently in the process of returning it to Lodge Mfg., and will wait for their response to this issue. But so far, I am not favorably impressed by the quality.

We researched which dutch oven was the best choice for us and are SO glad we chose this one ... Sturdy, beautiful ... the handle adds such grace ... design and function ... wow.

I purchased both the 5 qt and the 7 qt and absolutely love them! My pot roast and stews cook faster in these pots, so less heat is needed. There are no hot spots, so heating is uniform, too. I haven't tried a chicken yet, but I can almost see the results. I have used my 5 qt at least once a week for a year, and no chips, no cracks, no problems.

If one is careful not to chip the enamel, this Dutch Oven will be around a long time. My only complaint is that it is heavy but other than that, it is a quality product and does the job of good cooking.

Living in Hawaii, it's sometimes tough to find the right product and the right pricing. This was perfect. Low price, great product and free shipping to Hawaii. (If you purchase anything heavy, sometimes we get horrible sticker shock when the shipping cost exceeds the product price. So great value for us.

This Dutch oven is made in China, the quality or lack there of shows. If you visit the [...] site and read the about us tab, they will lead you to believe that all their cookware is manufactured in Tennesse. I bought this Dutch oven under the impression that it was made in the USA. When received to my dismay there was a made in China label on the box. The Dutch ovens are advertised to be able to use on a ceramic cook top. That is not the case when the bottom of the pan is buldged out. You only have a small contact area then. I would have thought that quality control would catch this, unless there is none.....I'm sure it would work fine on a gas stove.
