I bought these as a gift to myself and love them. They're great for serving fajitas on or putting in the oven to make a nacho. The skillets come with a recipe or two and are easy to clean even after sitting the night. The wooden plates keep the table cool and the grips are all you need when its hot.

A great gift for any kitchen lover.

I purchased these Fajita skillets as a gift for a friend. I am very impressed with the whole package of wooden trivet, cast iron skillet and handle mitt. The handle mitt is a nice touch and brings the whole "southwest" experience together. Also, the wooden trivet is a nice cherry tone. I think I need to order more for myself!

These are a great addition to any kitchen. Designed for fajitas, they have many other uses. I grill steaks in my Lodge Logic grill pan and have these heating in the oven. There is nothing worse than having an expensive steak go cold - and these pans prevent that. A wonderful gift - very attractive as well as functional - and a must have for steak and fajita lovers.

We love to make our own fajitas (especially in a slumping economy). We used to cook the meat and vegetables and set them on a plate. By the time we got to our second flour tortilla, the meat had become cool/room temperature. Finally, our fajita meat stays hot through the whole meal. The only issue I have, it is VERY difficult for me not to put dish soap on these and wash them as I do other dishes. They always feel sort of oily fron the oil I have to put on them before I heat them in the oven. The handle hot pads are great. Careful....They come out of the oven SUPER hot, but it makes the experience so authentic.

After I got I reseasoned it in the oven with veggie oil like I do with all me new cast iron pans. Used it the other night for fajitas and the kids loved the sizzle! You don't really need this pan. It is mainly a frill. If you have the round griddle you can use that as well and it is larger. Just don't forget a trivet. Overall a good package for $18 and a lot cheaper than eating out for Fajitas!

Although these pans are wonderful for making sizzling fajitas, I have used them for making and serving a number of other dishes. I have four sets, and last Christmas had my daughter and her husband over. I served nachos grande on these pan. Not only did the serving presentation look nice, but the heated pans kept the nachos warm, and they could be put into the oven to melt the cheese. I have also served smothered chicken on these with rice and a veggie, and the cheese topping was melted in the oven. The use of these pans is limited only by your imagination. Even if you don't do the actual cooking on them, heating them in the oven and serving meals on them keeps food warm throughout dinner. In addition, they are a welcome change from having dinner on the everyday dinnerware.

This is an excellent product, and the price makes it even better. I ordered two of them, and received them just as I was pan-frying some pork chops. I put these servers in the oven for 30 minutes at 425°, and then put my just-finished pork chops on the servers, which kept the pork chops hot until the last bite.

I bought 2 of these Lodge logic Pre-Seasoned Fajita sets because I was tired of cooking steaks and other meals and putting them onto regular plates and having them get cold. If you have ever been to Apple bee's and ordered any of there skillet meals you know how nice they are while you are eating, your meal never gets cold fast. So I decided to buy my own and try them out for home use and I love these skillets. I give these skillets 5 out of 5 stars. They are very nicely made and come with the heat board and the little oven MIT so you can grab it off of the grill or out of the oven. Since I bought 2 of them I have had some family members and buddies over and I pulled these out and heated them up on the grill and then put the steaks on them and brought them to the table after they tried them out they loved them and are now trying to get there own for there own homes. I am now looking to buy 2 more so my buddies don't fight over who gets the hot skillets when it comes to cooking steaks, fajitas or what ever it might be.

Very nice American made cast iron! Pot holders are great and stylish. My only issue is that the wood bases will not last a lifetime. Very lightweight wood. So if I have to use a tile later in the life of the pan will I be upset....no still a great..wait for it...American made product!

We love these! My husband uses these on the grill. When he first showed them to me on Amazon, I thought they were a little pricey, but they are well worth it.
