Just got this new wallet this week and I know I'll enjoy it for years to come. For 5 years I've been using a Lodis French wallet (the smaller type that folds) and that wallet is still like new--absolutely no wear & tear, leather doesn't mar and still looks great. I just had the 'bug' and wanted to try something new, plus I needed room for more credit cards, so I ordered the Emerald green of this model with Truffle interior.

The green is actually more of a teal and it's gorgeous. I don't carry a checkbook with me any more, but got this model anyway, thinking I could use the pockets intended for a checkbook to hold receipts or notes. I couldn't find any photos online to see how the checkbook section is arranged, but it does have a pocket for the checkbook and a pocket for the register. Interestingly, it also has a deep horizontal slot stitched over the top of the checkbook pocket--I guess for use if you happen to have a checkbook that opens horizontally (bound on the side vs. the top), or you can use it for extra storage.

Another surprise which doesn't show up in any online photos I have seen is there is a gusseted pocket in the center of the credit card section which opens easily for bills, AND it includes a zippered compartment with another bill compartment behind it.

The interior of the bill compartments are lined in a nylon fabric, but so was the bill compartment in my old smaller french wallet, and it has shown absolutely no wear after all the years I've had it.

The only nit I have is the 6 credit card slots that run horizontally are a bit tight--I'm guessing they'll stretch out over time. The vertical credit card slots fit perfectly.

Overall, I am very, very happy with my purchase and highly recommend it.

This is my third Lodis wallet and I still use all three. Lodis has exceptionally well made products that are worth every penny both in function and style. This is their traditional checkbook wallet, but they offer so many other unique styles and colors. I am always very pleased with anything Lodis.

I bought my first lodis wallet in 2005 and I used it everyday for 6 years before part of it broke and it needed replacing. I looked at various department stores and specialty stores in search of a something comparable but different for a change and ultimately realized that this is the perfect wallet for me and was very happy to find it on Amazon. The wallet seems to have a place for everything!

The Clutch Wallet was given to me as a gift five years ago. Its very durable and stylish, except the top seam near the clear viewing window started to rip after about a year -- however, I tend to trash things pretty quick. This fact being considered, the rest of the wallet has held out my rough and tumble lifestyle. I'm impressed!! All the zippers still work and all the other card slots are still intact. The leather is high quality and durable. There are 12 card slots and six main slots. I will buy another one soon.

The Lodis Clutch Wallet is well made, the leather is high quality, and the colors are beautiful. The layout of the wallet allows you to display a photo ID, carry many cards, have compartments for cash and receipts, and even carry change in a zippered pocket. I think it's the perfect clutch wallet.

This is a great wallet/clutch. Very well organized with lots of slots (14) for credit cards, plus ample space for checbook, cash etc. Great item!
