Everyone has different requirements for wallets and although the last reviewer did not like this wallet, like the first reviewer, I love it. First off, it IS leather. It's just the smooth/matte style that does not show grain intentionally with a thick paint of color on top of it. I've had a leather Gucci wallet and Kate Spade wallet like this in the past.

True that it does not have a dedicated checkbook flap area, but that is one of the features I actually liked about this. I don't carry my checkbook with me (how many people do these days?). I don't like extra bulk from an attached checkbook flap/area in the wallet.

If you want a lot of credit card slots, plenty of room for change and everything else, but a non-bulky clutch style wallet that fits in small purses, and is cute and getes lots of compliments, this one is perfect!

This is a disappointing product. It is NOT leather. I know, I should have looked carefully at the "leather fabrication" in the description. What the heck is that? It feels hard and fake. And it's also true that the description indicates that it will hold a checkbook. But it doesn't come with a checkbook cover, so you don't have a matching checkbook.

I tend not to return anything because of the hassle, but I won't keep this. It is more like a $20 wallet than one at four times that price.

Oh, for heaven's sake - who knew I could get so moony over a wallet? But I swear, every day I take it out to pay for this or that, and it truly makes me smile!

This is just such an elegant, WELL MADE (I can't emphasize that enough!) piece of workmanship, just holding it is a distinct pleasure.

I don't have a huge purse, and I hate a huge wallet that takes up all the room, and makes my purse weigh as much as a bowling ball. I usually never spend a lot on wallets, either, but that's mostly because I like expandable ones with velcro (lol, what a horrible admission!), and they, generally speaking, are pretty cheap.

I don't know what got into me, but one day while looking at amazon sale prices on these wallets, I took the plunge. I can honestly say there are few luxury type items I've bought that consistently give me so much satisfaction.

One thing I needed in a wallet was a change purse. This one has a long one, with a sturdy zipper with a pull tab. It's so easy to slide open, and the way it holds the change, it never bunches up and sucks up all the space in my purse. It's got about a billion slots for credit cards and such, and it's easy to slide them in and out.

I'm just so pleased with this wallet (I highly recommend the cinnabar, just gorgeous.) I've even had cashiers comment on the wallet when I take it out while waiting to pay - they see a lot of wallets, so how's that for an endorsement?

Wait to see when this goes on sale, or google Lodis Audrey and see if you can come up with a deal (suffice it to say I did NOT pay the current seventy-nine bucks!)

It shouldn't be hard to get it for less than fifty delivered. :)
