Groovy, Funky, and Fresh
I was hesitant when I picked up this album not knowing anything about kinkysweet records but the title San Fransisco convinced me that it was sure to have some groovy stylish tracks. I was very pleased with the first CD but some of the spanish tainted tracks had me skippen. The second CD was even better, its one that you can groove to without skipping a track! This CD...

Ok, I'll go first
I like it. This collection has all the elements that I've come to appreciate from kinkysweet-funky, soulful, driving. I found disc 1 to be very satisfying but disc 2 much less so. I found the first track on disc 2 to be borderline embarrasing and not just because it's a butchery of one of my favorite Beatles songs either. It's just not good, and the rest of the disc...

I like it. This collection has all the elements that I've come to appreciate from kinkysweet-funky, soulful, driving. I found disc 1 to be very satisfying but disc 2 much less so. I found the first track on disc 2 to be borderline embarrasing and not just because it's a butchery of one of my favorite Beatles songs either. It's just not good, and the rest of the disc doesn't recover quickly enough for me to give this 2 disc collection more than 3 stars. But because I liked the first disc so much, can we make it a VERY STRONG 3 stars? Come on, kinkysweet. I know you can do better. I know because you have.

I was very pleased with the first CD but some of the spanish tainted tracks had me skippen. The second CD was even better, its one that you can groove to without skipping a track! This CD has it's own culture and "cosmopolitan lover" vibe, hippie like sound effects, it's different from your average house CD; I love this CD; I play whenever I cruise through LA before the start of some nightlife.
