Okay so to just get this out of the way. The badge in ITSELF is awesome! It's made of DURABLE (which was suprising) ALL METAL!!! And it looks pretty authentic. Actually shines greatly in the sun! The worst part about this badge is the fact that the metal pin behind it to pin-up the thing onto a shirt or a vest or something, is REALLY REALLY flimsy and breaks VERY EASILY! After my first try putting the badge on my UTG Law Enforcement Tactical Vest for costume purposes, the pin bent and BROKE OFF!!! Now I had to put it back on and dent the metal holding the pin together so it would stay in place. But the pin is just really cheap and easy to break.

Another thing I don't like about it is the fact that the pin isn't stable. First off, its vertical, NOT horizontal (like normal pin's are). And it moves up and down. Like STRAIGHT UP and STRAIGHT DOWN. It doesn't just sit forward like normal pins do. Psssh.

Anyways, overall I think it's a good TOY, but don't abuse it heavily...don't even THINK about dropping it!!! So I give it a 3 out of 5.

Cons:
-Cheap pin
-Pin is not stationary
-Vertical (although that's not really BAD, but it's just weird...)

This was really not what I expected. This "toy" seemed to be the best badge I have seen trying to search for them in a lot of different places here in houston. I was also very pleased on how fast I got this, it was only like 3 days before i got it. five stars!!

Nice looking badge, TINY.

No way is it as big as the photograph portrays. It says frequently bought with a holder with chain necklace. Looks good in that photo. Nope. When it comes in the mail you go "wha??" It's tiny, not realistic.

For Halloween, great. Buy it. For a theatrical or film production, it's a joke.

I used this item for Halloween and it was perfect. I went as a CSI. This badge was cool because I'm 23 and didn't want one of those you would find in a store that are plastic or look cheesy. This is METAL so it looks and feels more realistic! Just make sure you secure the pin well or it could fall off. I suggest buying the badge holder & chain if you have the money! I was also super pleased with the FAST shipping.

It's a nice weight for a costume police badge. However, it doesn't attach to the holder well. It's like they weren't made for each other.

We used three of these as part of adult police costumes in a play. They looked great from a distance.

I received my Badge very quickly. I wanted a nice looking badge for a Cop uniform I was making for a performance in a talent show. When the badge arrived, it looked great and felt sturdy. I put the badge on my costume for half a day then removed it so I could wash the cop shirt. I laid the badge safely on my desk to avoid dropping it or anything and left it there while I washed the uniform. Unfortunately 2 days later when I actually tried to put the badge back on for the actual performance, the safety pin part of the badge snapped off in my hand. Keep in mind this was only the 2nd time I had ever put on the badge since I got it. I was definitely shock and pretty mad! Thankfully I keep safety pins in my purse so after a long struggle, I was able to use my own safety pin to pin the badge on my shirt.

All in all, the badge itself is very durable with a heavy metallic feel. HOWEVER, the safety pin on the back of the badge is VERY cheap! It broke within a week of my getting it and I had only used it once before it broke. If you have extra safety pins and don't mind having use your own or having to work the pin thru a very very narrow space in order to pin the badge on, I say go ahead and buy it. But keep in mind, by itself, the safety pin that holds the badge on WILL break off pretty quickly.

This badge is heavy and durable. It was a great buy to go along with some other policeman items we purchased. We received them right away.

I purchased this badge as a costume prop. Well weighted. It was a bit difficult to get the pin on the back through the badge holder I purchased (more an issue with the badge holder than this prop), and not sure how much wear and tear the pin would hold up to if played with by a child, but very solid and weighty badge. Recommended for others.

This badge is nice looking but the clasp is cheap and pops out easily but pops back in almost as easy. Nice for a visual effect but not much else.
