I consider myself an amateur framer and as such I was getting tired of constantly have to find the right mat board for the right frame. Well now I can cut them myself thanks to the Logan Cutter. Now personally, I wish it was all metal such as aluminum or such for the price but overall I cannot complain. It's solid, the parts all fit well, and even any completely non-mechanically inclined individual can put this product together easily and quickly. It's use is fairly straight-forward too. I was cutting mats within 5 minutes of putting it together and though my first one came out a little bit off I had the hang of it after one failed attempt. Overall, I highly recommend this product and you do get what you pay for which is a solid very good cutting board! FYI, it's easy to take back apart once your done for storage too. I just used the box it shipped in.

Perfect mats every time. The instructions are clear, and it only took one or two tries to start cutting perfect mats. It will save me a bundle on mat board as well because it is big enough to handle cutting the 32x40 sheets of mat board in half.

Well made. Works as advertised. Be sure to practice before doing 'serious' mats. View the Logan tutorial videos. The hardest part is adjusting blade depth with cutting start and stop points. These change as mat thickness changes, and is applicable to all mat cutters.

I owned a less expensive mat cutter. It was a waste of money. I almost always had to recut the mat. Not so with the Logan SimplexPlus. Every mat I have cut, and I have cut several, were perfect the first time. No frustration, no foul language, and no redo's.

My logan 750 has been a problem since I purchased it over 2 years ago. Cutting using the rail measurements creates an angled piece instead of a parallel cut. For the money, was not worth it. Could not return it since I had it too long before using it and finding this problem. No amount of adjustments are able to fix the problem. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, UNLESS YOU WANT HEADACHES. I am now looking for something better. Will probably have to pay almost a thousand dollars since this was about $350 and is garbage. Thanks Logan.

The delivery of my cutter was very good so 10 points goes to the store. The cutter is also lots of fun and does a really good job cutting my first 30 or so mats:-)

This is the best photo presentation accessory that I own and I look forward to years of usage. I highly recommend this product to the photo enthusiast who wants to give his photos a profesional look.
