More About the Author

When I was a corporate drone and cubicle dweller living in a fabric-covered cage, the creative energy of writing romance allowed my mind to escape the reality of my everyday world, at least for a while. No longer a corporate drone, I still need to give voice to the characters who inhabit my head. My larger-than-life heroines and heroes demand release, and I'm happy to oblige. I read and write romance to satisfy my craving for good love stories with happy endings.

For as long as I can remember I've made up love stories in my head. The Thirties and Forties romantic comedies that played on late-night TV when I was growing up helped shape my love of romance.

I currently have five books available: "Logan's Redemption," a romantic suspense formerly published by The Wild Rose Press and now available on Kindle, BN Nook and Apple; "Murder, Mi Amore," a romantic suspense novella released December 2010 by The Wild Rose Press; "Cursed Mates," a sensual, dark paranormal romance, released December 2010 by Noble Romance Publishing; "Loving Or Nothing," a sweet, sexy novella, available on Amazon Kindle; and "A Cat's Tale & Other Love Stories," a collection of short, sweet, romance stories, available on Kindle, Nook and Apple.

In addition to my books, I have had success writing short stories. I've published short romance stories in New Love Stories Magazine, and in the Trues (True Love, True Romance, True Confessions, True Story, and True Experience).
I live in on the East Coast with my husband and a fat, black diva of a cat named Killer. My husband and I love to travel, and I love to write about the places we've visited.

In the first few pages, Cara Marsi's second novel, LOGAN'S REDEMPTION, will have you intrigued by Doriana and Logan's past, fearful of their present situation, and wondering what the future holds for these seemingly star-crossed lovers.

Marsi deftly creates page-turning suspense, as she weaves the story through scenes with strong visual imagery and reveals her characters' feelings in ways that will tug at your emotions.

16 year old Josh has a father who doesn't know about him. Logan Tanner and Dori were once in love, but a night of deep anger caused Logan to flee before finding out she was pregnant. Now he is back, as her assistant.

I was hooked from the beginning of this story. Long lost loves, deep secrets, I wanted to find out more. The byplay between the characters was wonderful, and I got lost in the story very easily. I really enjoyed the story, and am glad there was a HEA in the end. This is the type of story that leaves you feeling warm & fuzzy.

The book was good and I liked the story, it was a bit different than the usual. But there was one thing that bothered me throughout the whole story. After a couple chapters we get the fact that they still like each other and that they are a bit insecure but the author kept repeating it over and over again throughout the whole book. Things like...but will he stay?...does she want me?...he hurt me...he left me..i wasn't good enough... I just felt like the repetition of things we know over and over again was a bit much for me.
