Secrets, Second Chances, and Sizzle,
By
This review is from: Logan's Redemption (Kindle Edition)
When Logan Tanner reappears in Doriana Callahan's life, feelings that have lain dormant for 16 years resurface, along with long-held secrets.
In the first few pages, Cara Marsi's second novel, LOGAN'S REDEMPTION, will have you intrigued by Doriana and Logan's past, fearful of their present situation, and wondering what the future holds for these seemingly star-crossed lovers. Marsi deftly creates page-turning suspense, as she weaves the story through scenes with strong visual imagery and reveals her characters' feelings in ways that will tug at your emotions. And be prepared--the chemistry between Logan and Doriana crackles with enough electricity to power the city of Philadelphia.

16 year old Josh has a father who doesn't know about him. Logan Tanner and Dori were once in love, but a night of deep anger caused Logan to flee before finding out she was pregnant. Now he is back, as her assistant.
I was hooked from the beginning of this story. Long lost loves, deep secrets, I wanted to find out more. The byplay between the characters was wonderful, and I got lost in the story very easily. I really enjoyed the story, and am glad there was a HEA in the end. This is the type of story that leaves you feeling warm & fuzzy.

The book was good and I liked the story, it was a bit different than the usual. But there was one thing that bothered me throughout the whole story. After a couple chapters we get the fact that they still like each other and that they are a bit insecure but the author kept repeating it over and over again throughout the whole book. Things like...but will he stay?...does she want me?...he hurt me...he left me..i wasn't good enough... I just felt like the repetition of things we know over and over again was a bit much for me.

Fantastic Read,
This review is from: Logan's Redemption (Kindle Edition)
Don't you just love a good love story? I know I do, nothing like a good ol' love story to pull you out of your busy or maybe sometimes boring day. I honestly didn't know what to expect when I first read the premise for this book, even when I first started reading it I was still unsure. Boy oh boy did I love this book! Deep, dark secrets brings on the suspense, the love brings on the fuzzy feelings and the characters just make everything else. The storyline of this book was great on its own but throw in great, fascinating characters and you just have book gold! The book is 252 pages, I'm surprised I didn't burn the 'Next' button on my computer because I was flipping through them so fast, although I think I might have saw smoke...It is definitely a page turner.
This book will definitely leave you with a great feeling after your done reading it. I would highly recommend this book to be read while on vacation or outside in the summer sun. I just can't get over how much this book surprised me, can you tell? Charming characters, a sizzling, enticing storyline. Logan's Redemption is a gem! What I loved: Everything. The characters, the storyline and I can't forget to mention the good-looking cover. Is it just me or does he look like Cam Gigandet(James from Twilight)? What I disliked: Nothing. Loved it all

Logan's Redemption is an enjoyable yet predictable read. If you are looking for a whodunnit / who's the father plot which also includes undercover work, a troubled teen, a stalking psycho/abuser and If you want to get lost in a book but don't wish to heavily concentrate on the details this will be a good book to read. A very good value for the price.

I'm a sucker for a good reunion story, and Cara Marsi didn't disappoint! The pages of LOGAN'S REDEMPTION are filled with edge-of-your-seat suspense. The chemistry between Doriana and Logan sizzles. It was so HOT I thought it might short-circuit my K2 a time or two. Even so, the rift between Doriana and Logan seemed so wide that--while I desperately wanted them to make amends--I wasn't sure if it was possible to bridge the gap. Ms. Marsi proved me wrong, and quite adeptly at that.
If you enjoy spine-tingling suspense and a love story that will leave you feeling all giddy...then LOGAN'S REDEMPTION is for you. It's in my "Keeper Collection"!

This review is from: Logan's Redemption (Paperback) Doriana Callahan is having a rough time. She is being stalked. Her son is rebelling and being secretive. Someone is sabotaging her father's company and stealing bids. Then, on top of that, Logan Tanner has been hired by her father to be her new personal assistant. Years ago Logan and Dori were inseparable and when he left without a word, he broke Dori's heart. Now, it seems that he is back in town and suddenly Dori has a sixteen-year-old dilemma on her hands whose name happens to be Josh. Logan Tanner regrets leaving Dori so long ago. Sixteen years prior he did something so awful that he had to run, and run he did - away from Dori and away from the son he never knew existed. Hired by Dori's father, Logan must find the person responsible for single-handedly trying to ruin the family business. When he accomplishes what he has been hired to do, where will he go from there? Hopefully, straight into Dori's arms forever. Logan's Redemption grabbed me with the blurb. I adore stories of lost lovers reuniting again years later. I just knew that Logan and Dori would be together and loved reading how their relationship had to grow and each character had to come to grips with their respective pasts. Logan had a bit more baggage than Dori and his forgiving of himself was hard for him to do. Dori's guilt was in not telling Logan immediately about the stork visiting her almost sixteen years ago. I couldn't blame Logan for his anger but the storyline was written well enough that I know why Dori made the decisions she made. I really liked the plot and premise of Logan's Redemption. As a reviewer, only one thing really stood out in my mind and bothered me. It is minor but I feel it must be mentioned. It seems as if I was left hanging when Josh ran into trouble. Nothing was mentioned about his recovery, etc. At the end of the book, I was left not knowing his prognosis or what happened with that part of the storyline. All in all, I enjoyed Logan's Redemption very much and would automatically read another novel by Cara Marsi. Talia reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

A pleasurable romantic suspense, without any surprises in the plot. The main characters were plausible, their fears and insecurities comprehensible. Personally, I would have preferred if Logan and Doriana would have resolved their differences earlier, so that more space would have been available to develop the suspense elements further. I also thought that their "encounter" should have been much earlier and not towards the end of the book.

So all in all this was a good read. I thought the chemistry between the two main characters was unbelievable, and you could almost feel the sparks flying! I felt that Logan and Doriana fought themselves just a little TOO much, but who is to say what too much really is? Maybe it added to the tension. It certainly made me tense. This was your classic "never forgot you and now that I have found you, I am never letting you go" love story, but there was so much more. There was a teenage son that Logan never knew about, the mystery surrounding work, and a long lost and almost forbidden 1st love. Without giving too much away, anybody that loves a good romance wrapped in a little bit of mystery will love this book.
