The Loggerheads Soundtrack is composed of music hand picked by director Tim Kirkman that was either featured in or inspired by the movie 'Loggerheads'. Featuring such varied artists as Patty Griffin and Kim Carnes to Grey DeLisle and Robbie Fulks, the soundtrack is a musical expression of the film that the New York Post calls, "A poetic, beautiully acted tour-de-force". Also featured is the soft score by Mark Geary that guides the film along.
About the Artist
Inspired by true events, Loggerheads tells the story of an adoption “triad”—birth mother, child, and adoptive parents—each in three interwoven stories in the days leading up to Mother’s Day weekend, and each in one of the three distinctive geographical regions of North Carolina—mountains, Piedmont and coastal plain.
