Historical resource
"Logging in Plumas County" has wonderful, old photographs, many of which are available only in this book, as they are in private collections. We are fortunate that the authors had access to these gems. This book is a great resource for anyone, who is interested in the history of logging or the timber industry.

Made-up descriptions
As a long time logger for the Collins Pine Co. of Chester, CA, I am flabergasted at the authors descriptions of many of the photos from the Collins Pine logging operation. As a log truck driver and timber feller for the company I am taken back at the untruth of the authors false descriptions.
