My children range from 1st - 4th grade and all have fun using this book.
For the younger, it works best not to use the spots on the page, but for them to arrange them on the table in front of them as the directions are read to them.
The older ones get good use of it, but need to be taught exclusive terms like "directly to the left" means that it is touching it on the left, etc.
I highly recommend it for logic thinking and an introduction to logic puzzles.

I homeschool my three children and my 8 year old daughter loved this workbook! The younger kids were able to help sort and count out the appropriate number and color of tiles while she put them in the correct order. Another good one that uses money is: MindWare Coin Clues Level A
